Jordan 11 Retro Premium ‘Heiress’

The use of high-quality materials across this Jordan 11 Retro Premium ‘Heiress’ gives it a classy look, while its dusky tones make for a stealthy design. It rests upon a rubber outsole with a partly see-through complexion that reveals a black carbon-fibre plate beneath it. This helps to strengthen the bottom half of the shoe, while the black Jumpman in its centre acts as a powerful piece of branding. Similarly coloured pieces of rubber with an undefined shape appear under the heel and forefoot, their herringbone grip patterns serving to support the wearer even further. Atop this, the white Phylon foam midsole pads out the shoe while also bringing it a refreshing lightness. The addition of Air cushioning throughout this last feature ensures that this Jordan 11 is very comfortable to walk in.

The traditional patent leather mudguard has been swapped out for one with a more pebbled surface that has earned the sneaker the nickname Black Stingray due to it having the captivating look of stingray skin. It still maintains a certain level of sheen thanks to the lustrous effect that spreads over its appealingly textured exterior, causing the various speckles to glitter in the light. Over the top of the foot, everything has been filled out in luxurious black suede. This includes the main panel of the upper, the smaller heel overlay and even the tongue. The familiar webbed lacing system forms broad lines from the top of the mudguard to the edge of the tongue, where looping eyelets hold the black laces in place. Sophisticated Metallic Gold branding has been written across the middle of the tongue, forming the Jordan and Jumpman text into thick stylised letters. A tiny Metallic Gold Jumpman is nestled between these two words, and more gleaming highlights can be seen on the end of the laces, which are tipped with golden aglets.

Inside the shoe, everything is blanketed in more dark black tones, except for the custom branding on the insole. This unique emblem consists of a Metallic Gold Jumpman in the centre of a circle of text that reads “Jordan Heiress” in the same glamorous tone. Returning to the outer, the heel shows off another set of golden accents. The first of these is the number 23 sewn into the black heel tab. The second is the moulded Metallic Gold Jumpman logo that stands out brightly on the lateral side of the heel in a powerful culmination of this compelling colourway.
