South Korean boutique WORKSOUT tells its captivating backstory through this stealthy Air Max 95. Its charismatic marbled upper blends inky black and Anthracite tones across smooth topographical contours and sleek reflective stripes. The tactile, boulder-like heel and diamond-textured lateral Swoosh reflect the aesthetic of WORKSOUT’s stores, while the words “become indispensable” decorate the insoles in English and Korean as a nod to the high school where its founders met. The launch campaign features fantastical videos depicting how they bonded over a shared love of Air Max, and a pop-up attached to their Apgujeong store resembled a 90s classroom. Attendees were invited to wear their “favourite Nike Air” and reminisce about their school days in a powerful tribute to WORKSOUT’s incredible journey and this compelling collaboration.
