This Nike Dunk Low exudes elegance through its pair of light tones – White & Venice. The latter is an appealingly gentle shade of lilac that appears first on the grippy rubber outsole. High-quality traction results from the pivot-circle structures below the forefoot and the hardy lugs beneath the heel, before the white midsole keeps things lightweight and comfortable with its foam padding.

The same two colours work together across the upper to create a graceful aesthetic. The toe box and midfoot panels are made of smooth white leather, with another band of the same material running just below the topline of the low-cut collar. This continues under the tail end of each swoosh to envelop the heel, three lines of stitching adding an intriguing pattern around the back of the foot. Resting atop this layer of white are the traditional overlays of the Dunk Low. There is the forefoot mudguard, the eyestay and the rear overlay, all of which come in Venice hues and are connected to the outer via intricately stitched lines.

The same can be said of the heel panel and the swooshes that adorn the flanks, though both of these have single lines of thread along their edges rather than dual ones. Woven into the heel panel is white Nike text in block capitals, and more subtle branding can be seen over the top of the foot. Here, upon the white tongue, the Venice label contains white Nike branding which is only just visible. The shoe’s inner maintains the exquisite decorations of the outer through its soft mesh lining, which is coated in Venice tones, and its pink Nike insole text, which rounds out the design.
