Jordan 1 Retro High OG

This Jordan 1 Retro High OG features soft blue tones that honour the University of North Carolina – Michael Jordan’s team when he played in the NCAA. These have been paired with neutral shades of black and white to create an elegant sneaker. The design is founded upon a solid sole unit with a University Blue outsole that incorporates both straight and circular grip lines, providing traction to the wearer when undertaking all sorts of different movements. Attached to this is a white midsole with foam cushioning and encapsulated Air in the heel, which brings comfort alongside the outsole’s grip.

Meanwhile, the upper is founded upon a white base of tumbled leather whose textured surface can be seen throughout the perforated toe box and the midfoot. From here, it extends in a narrow band around the heel, below which is the first University Blue overlay. Further Durabuck panels in this light blue tone wrap around the forefoot and form the eyestay, with an additional strip of material enveloping the black collar. The laces are also black, and behind them rests a white canvas tongue with a black patch sewn into its peak. University Blue Nike Air text is embroidered into this label to become the first of the branding effects on this sneaker. The same formation can also be found on the insole, which is black like the inner lining and has Nike Air lettering beside a swoosh in University Blue.

Elsewhere on this stylish sneaker, logos have been added that represent both Nike and Jordan Brand. The former occurs in the classic fashion of black leather swooshes laid across each of the shoe’s midfoot panels. They reach back along the flanks to form a border between the heel overlay and the white leather underlay before meeting at a small University Blue heel strip. A set of black Air Jordan Wings has been printed onto the lateral side of the heel wrap to round out the classy look of this desirable model.
