Nike Air Force 1 '07

Gentle colours bring a relaxed style to this Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 sneaker. A gum rubber outsole starts things off with a somewhat translucent effect that lends it an appealing sheen. The two circular grip panels which sit under the heel and forefoot are surrounded by further ringed tread lines with an almost orange appearance that continues into the star shapes and lugs around the outsole’s edge. Above this, a marked change in colour occurs on the midsole as it switches to a Coconut Milk tone. Raised Air lettering stands out from the midsole’s lateral heel, and a neat line forms a smooth band around its back, whose surface is otherwise pleasantly dappled.

On the upper, things shift again as the tone turns to an almost off-white hue with a subtle tinge of lilac running through it. The panels are formed from crisp tumbled leather, with overlays in the forefoot and heel alongside a toe box with lines of perforations fanning out from the eyestay towards the tip of the foot. The laces, which are secured by an AF1-branded lace lock in the same hue as the rest of the upper, exhibit an Alabaster tone similar to the Coconut Milk midsole but slightly more muted.

Meanwhile, suede highlights add a hint of luxury to the design through the swooshes, which are pale blue in colour. These extend down each side of the sneaker before disappearing under the lilac-tinged heel panel. Pale blue Nike Air text has been embroidered into this feature, while some final branding elements add a further soft shade of blue. These come in the form of a Cobalt Bliss tongue patch with Nike Air and Air Force 1 lettering sewn into it in white and Nike Air text printed onto the lilac mesh of the insole, thus completing the alluring colour palette of this pair.
