Nike Air Force 1 '07

A duo of compelling colours has been sprinkled across the neutral background of this Air Force 1 ‘07 to forge a sneaker with elegance and style. Crisp white leather panels form smooth overlays around the forefoot and rear of the shoe, with similarly flat sections on the eyestay and heel panel creating a classic look. More white segments appear in the toe box, whose tumbled leather surface is marked with ventilation holes that fan out towards the front of the model.

Textural variation occurs along the breathable mesh of the white tongue, with a tighter mesh filling out the sneaker’s interior. Atop the insole, Bold Berry Nike Air text has been printed, with two more sets of the same branding highlighting the white tongue patch and heel panel. The tongue also contains Air Force 1 lettering, but this time in the other colourful hue to grace the outer – Speed Yellow. This brilliant tone is used sparingly, only showing up one more time on the embossed lines that encircle the heel. Nestled in between these two bands of yellow is Bold Berry Air lettering, its rich shade of purple contrasting powerfully with the white midsole behind it. This Air-cushioned unit comes completely in white, as does the grippy outsole beneath. White can be seen across this whole feature, from the star-shaped nodes at its tips to the lugs around its edges and the pivot-circle patterns along its rubber underside.

Back on the upper, two dynamic features adorn the flanks. The first is the Bold Berry swooshes that begin laying across the midfoot panels and finish by extending over the rear overlay to disappear beneath the heel panel. The second is the motif embossed across the midfoot panels themselves. It incorporates several small basketballs as a nod to the AF1’s sporting heritage alongside sets of Nike lettering to deftly emphasise the brand one last time.
