Nike Air Force 1 '07

This graceful Air Force 1 ‘07 has a memorable dichromatic design. The upper is mostly constructed of smooth white leather, with overlays in the forefoot and heel alongside a recessed toe box and midfoot panels. Circular perforations line the toe, while each midfoot section has a pair of ventilation holes along its bottom edge. Just above these, white swooshes enhance the flanks. They both connect to a heel panel which has been branded with Nike Air embroidery in stunning University Red. This vibrant hue also stands out on the Nike Air text along the white insole as well as the branding on the tongue patch, which again comes in white. This patch loops over a tongue of the same tone whose top edge has been trimmed with University Red material.

To add to these dynamic branding elements, finely detailed University Red stitching has been used throughout the upper, giving these sneakers a compelling aesthetic. This vivid-coloured thread intricately traces either single or double lines around the periphery of the different segments on the upper, creating a strong delineation for each part. On top of this, the inner lining is University Red, as can be seen along the top of the collar, and a charming little red swoosh has been embroidered into the end of the eyestay.

Underfoot, the sole unit combines this complementary pair of tones once more. Firstly, the midsole is white with Air lettering rising from its lateral heel. Then the grippy rubber outsole is University Red from heel to toe. To conclude the design, the groove that wraps around the whole circumference of the midsole is inlaid with a bold line of University Red stitching, forging a final powerful contrast.
